Room 406, evening

After thinking quite a bit, and listening to last night's radio one more time, Isabel finally had an idea about what to do to annoy Umbridge for what she did to Johnny and Peter.

Smirking a lot, Isabel sat on her bed with her laptop and Photoshop up and running.

The door was open.

"Isabel! You're back!" Bridge replies, going over to give her a welcome-home hug, if she is so inclined. "Xander helped me dye it this weekend."

Isabel was very inclined towards welcome-home hugs. "I am. And glad to be here. Why the dye?"

Bridge hugs her tightly. "I was telling him about when I was little, how the first person to figure out my powers was a Xybrian, and Xybrians all have green hair, and it sort of evolved from there to what *I* would look like with green hair, so," he grins. "We decided to experiment."

"You look very adorable," she smiled. "Green is a good color on you. But we already knew that."

"Thanks," Bridge ducks his head and blushes a little.

The blushing was even more adorable but Isabel wouldn't tease. "Come sit. Tell me what I missed. I've listened to the podcasts but it's not the same."

"As can be expected, no one's really been obeying Umbridge's decrees," Bridge says. "She did *something* to me last week that made my throat feel like it was on fire, but that wore off overnight."

"Please, I think in the last six hours I've disobeyed every one of her decrees," Isabel said, rolling her eyes. "Well except the co-ed housing one. But that's only because I don't think Xander would want to move back here."

"Probably not," Bridge says with a grin. "Because even non-Umbridge school administration might frown on that," he's silent for a moment, and then adds in a quiet voice: "she called Z into her office today. I haven't heard back, so I don't know if she went, or if that woman *did* anything to her, or.."

"I'd check on her, definitely," she told him, understanding his concern. "She called Johnny down today, and when I saw him, he had his tongue stuck to the roof of his mouth."

"I'd really like to speak to whoever thought it was a good idea to put *her* in charge of... well, anyone, really."

"Yeah, a big ole What the hell were you thinking? is called for," Isabel agreed. "I'm working on a little project to annoy her. Want to see?"

Bridge manages a grin at that. "Absolutely."

She hit the application in her task bar and opened Photoshop. "I'm really sorry about the brain damage," Isabel said as she turned the laptop around so that Bridge could see the image.

"GAH!" Bridge actually jumps backwards once he sees the screen.

"I know. It's deliberately hideous," she admitted.

"You're an evil, evil person and I love you." Bridge says seriously.

"I love you to," Isabel smiled. "Don't ever doubt it."
