Room 406, Late afternoon/early evening

After handwave getting the books from Veronica that need to be translated in order to try and find a cure from Angel, Isabel settled down on her bed, books and notepad in hand. Considering she's never done anything like this before? This could take a while.



[door's open, but going AFK until about 7:30. I'm around.]

Isabel groaned and threw a crumpled up piece of paper at Peter's head.

Peter caught it easily. "You know it was a good joke. Don't pretend it wasn't."

"It was good," Isabel admitted. "I think I'm seriously outclassed in the witty repartee category."

"Hey, I have a year of nervous blathering while people are trying to shoot me to fall back on," Peter said. "It makes the jokes so very easy."

"You and Maria would get along well," Isabel smiled. "Nervous blather is usually her job when we face life or death situations back in Roswell. But only after she sniffed her cypress oil."

"It's a great coping mechanism. Also, it annoys the crap out of the bad guys. And an annoyed supervillain is a sloppy supervillain," Peter explained. "In case you ever need to know that."

"Honestly? I don't plan on meeting any supervillians. But if I do? I'll keep that in mind," Isabel laughed. "And who knows, maybe I'll even get a marshmallow."

"I wouldn't count on it. I'm pretty sure that's just for monochrome hooker ninjas who are cracked out of their freaking minds," Peter suggested.

"And that's something that probably unique to Fandom. Although I guess not, since they had to come from somewhere," Isabel said.

"Yeah, Crazy Hooker mentioned to me one time that she apparently come from some insanely tough place or something. Which makes sense since, you know, it produced somebody THAT whacked in the head," Peter said.

"Makes perfect sense to me," Isabel agreed. "And wherever that place is? It's definitely not on my list of places to visit for vacation."

"I think it could be fun for a vacation. You know, if I ever lost my mind," Peter shrugged.

"Ack. I should probably get back to packing. Have fun with your scribbles, good luck with the Angel stuff, and I'll see you on Sunday, okay?"

"I'll keep that in mind if I ever see you planning a trip there," Isabel smiled. She reached over and gave Peter a quick hug. "Thanks, and I'll be around. So I'll see you then. Have a good trip."
