Room 406, evening

Since her return from Roswell Isabel had kept herself busy, visiting friends, working, and hanging out at assemblies. But tonight she felt like staying in and relaxing, which was why she was curled up on her bed with a book as Annie batted a toy around the room.

The door was open.

"Happy to share," she told him as the opening credits of the first movie started. "Oh gee, it's not a chick flick. Are you sure you'll survive?"

Isabel grabbed one of the pillows and handed it to Wyatt, the set the other behind her back. "I've got the whole trilogy. This could be a long night if you're up to it."

"Oh, yeah, I can definitely go all night," Wyatt said. Completely innocently, of course. He put the pillow behind him and settled back. "I love these movies. Extended edition, right?"

"Dirty?" Isabel asked, raising an eyebrow. "Of course they're the extended versions. They're the only versions as far as I'm concerned."

"You are the perfect woman," Wyatt sighed. "Unless you're just watching it for Viggo or Orlando."

"Viggo of course," she grinned. "Orlando's just too pretty. My favorite scene is the one in the second movie? When Viggo's been given up for dead? And then he pushes open the doors and just struts across the room?" Isabel sighed happily.

"That's a great scene," Wyatt agreed. "If I ever come back from the dead, I want to make an entrance like that. But I like the battle scenes better."

"I like them. I mean they're epic and dramatic and have funny bits and all, but they're not as much fun when you've really fought for your life," she admitted. "Still, Eowyn kicks ass."

"She does," Wyatt said. "Arwen is good with the magic, but give me a girl who knows how to handle a sword."

Pause.

"Not dirty."

Isabel choked on the piece of chocolate she'd just bitten into then snickered. "Sure..."

Wyatt bumped his shoulder against Isabel's. "That was perfectly innocent!" he insisted.

"That's what she said," she replied, bumping back and rolling her eyes. "Now shush. Viggo's going to make his first appearance soon."

Wyatt rolled his eyes right back at her and managed to hold back any snarky comments. For awhile, at least. He had to make a few comments as they watched the first movie and started the second.

But it grew late and the movies were long, and both of them eventually drifted off, leaning against each other as they slept.
