Room 406, evening

After some handwavey lunch and searching around, Isabel and Wyatt had split up to cover more ground to see if they could find any answers about what had happened and about their scheduled wedding.

Eventually Isabel returned to her room and started to rummage through, trying to get a better sense of who she was. The thick scrapbook she found was more frustrating then helpful. It was filled with pictures of people, that was true. And Isabel was beyond grateful that she had included names and stories about what was going on in the pictures on the pages of the book. But even though she looked so happy in the pictures with Greg and Parker, Cedric, Jack and Bel, right now they meant nothing to her. She wasn't even going to think about the stories that went with the pictures. They made no sense. The book ended with pictures from graduation, which for some reason seemed to have an alien apocalypse theme.

There were a small handful of loose pictures with summer dates on them from the beach and what Isabel assumed was New York City. Unfortunately the only person Isabel recognized in those pictures was a girl named Dawn, and that was only because she'd been in another picture in the scrapbook labeled Meerkats Forever!

The was one thing she was sure of though. There were no pictures of Wyatt. Which meant they'd either had a whirlwind romance, or the whole wedding thing was a joke between friends. After the pleasant time they'd spent together that day, Isabel wasn't sure which she preferred.

The door was open as Isabel continued to page through the scrapbook.

Wyatt blinked. "Why not?" he said, disappointed.

"Because I don't remember kissing you before," she explained. "So technically this is our first kiss. We have to do it right."

"Oh, right," Wyatt said, smile returning. "Good point."

Isabel tipped her head and smiled, "I'm smart like that."

Nervously she ran the tip of her tongue over her lips and reached a hand towards his face. "So..."

Wyatt leaned into her hand. "Hi," he said softly, running his own hand up her arm.

"Hi yourself," Isabel murmured, running her thumb over his cheek and leaning a bit closer.

"You're so beautiful," Wyatt said, moving his hand up to her hair and running his fingers through it.

Blushing, she ducked her head. "You talk too much." Which meant she had to help him be quiet.

Ever so gently, Isabel covered his lips with her own.

Wyatt was more than happy to shut up. He slipped both arms around her, rubbing his hands up and down her back as he kissed her back.

Isabel brought her hands up to run through his hair as she nipped lightly at his lower lip.

Wyatt was definitely encouraged by this and pulled her closer against him, seeking to deepen the kiss.

Closer was good. Closer was very good. Wyatt was warm and strong and very nice to press up against. Parting her lips, Isabel sighed, more then happy to deepen the kiss.

As first kisses went? Memory loss or not, she was pretty sure this one was spectacular.

If this kiss was any indication, Wyatt could see why he asked Isabel to marry him. Unless she asked him. Which was fine, because pretty, warm, soft, smart, witty -- yeah, he could definitely be okay with that.

Isabel was very quickly losing track of anything besides of warm hands and how incredible a simple kiss could make her feel. Except she felt like it could very rapidly become more then a simple kiss and that was something that given their memory loss, probably wasn't such a good idea.

Reluctantly, she pulled back the tiniest bit. "Wow..."

"Wow," Wyatt echoed, not letting go of her. "That was . . . wow." He grinned and pressed his forehead against hers. "So, uh, marry me?"

"I think that's the plan", Isabel smiled, tipping her head just enough to kiss the corner of his mouth.

Moving would probably be a good thing. They could order dinner and pick a movie, possibly make out a bit more. But for some reason she was having a hard time getting motivated, so she settled on a slightly goofy smile and pushed Wyatt's hair back.

Wyatt moved one hand to Isabel's face to caress her cheek. "Want to move somewhere more comfy?" he asked, his eyes moving toward the bed.

Isabel leaned into his hand. "We can do that. Just...can we not go too far? At least not till we get some more answers?" Even with memory loss the silly girl was far too cautious and practical for her own good. "I'd like to think that even if this is some weird misunderstanding, we're still friends. And I wouldn't want to mess that up."

"Good point," Wyatt said reluctantly. "I know I would never want to do anything tht you might regret. And I'd never want to hurt you." He traced her lips with his thumb, then leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss.

Isabel was very happy to lose herself in the kiss for a few moments. Then she smiled and tugged him down onto the bed.

And Wyatt was more than willing to be so tugged. He moved his head, trailing kisses down the line of her jaw until he reached her neck.

Tipping her head up to give him better access to her neck, Isabel slowly dragged her nails up and down his back over his shirt.

Wyatt arched his back at the scratch of her nails. He made a soft sound of pleasure as he kissed Isabel's neck.

In theory, there were probably better ways to spend an evening, but right now Isabel couldn't think of a single thing that was better then this. Shivering as Wyatt hit a particularly sensitive spot on her neck, she decided it was time her lips did some exploring of their own.

The first thing they found was an ear. Purring just a bit, Isabel caught Wyatt's earlobe in her teeth.

Wyatt hissed and stiffened. His body, that is, not his . . . okay, that, too. He dipped his head and started kiss his way along the neckline of her shirt.
