Fortunately work had been quiet and Isabel was able to get a significant amount of work done on her applications. That's why she didn't feel guilty when she grabbed her laptop and answered an email, then flipped on the TV to look for something cheesy to watch.

The door was open.

"Yeah, I think I might do that," Adam nodded, definitely making sure to talk with Bridge at some point this weekend. "Sara," he smiled, thinking that Aisha and Kim would just about fawn all over her if they saw her.

"Well aren't you the cutest thing," Isabel said to Sara. "So sweet and nice."

Sara let out a small yip, totally and completely agreeing with what Isabel had said. Or so it would seem.

Adam just laughed. "She likes the attention."

"Well I'm happy to give it to her anytime," she promised.

"Looks like I'll have to start stocking up on doggie treats then." It would be a hardship.
