Isabel had promised herself that she'd get a small bit of revenge after bouncing for the week. So at some point in the evening, she wandered down to the second floor. If anyone questioned her, she was just taking a break from translating the book on toxins.
Outside room 228, she stopped and bent down to tie her shoe. Anyone watching would have seen her pull herself to her feet by resting her hand on the doorknob of the room.
Her shoe tied, she continued down the hallway and then made her way back to 406.
If anyone happened to inspect the doorknob, they'd see that there was no longer a keyhole in the handle. Oops... I wonder how that happened?
