Room 406, evening

The day had certainly started well with breakfast and pretty scenery. Sadly the rest of the day hadn't been as exciting. After spending a few hours starting at the phone and debating calling Roswell, Isabel finally gave in and watched the torrent of the new Mr. What episode.

"God, I wish. Still in Europe. Paris. I would be shopping, but I am incapable of movement." Parker curled tighter into the couch. "We have a line on Jake, but we gotta wait for confirmation. So. Break time. Nap time. Call time."

"Rest then. When you're tired that's when things go wrong," Isabel orderd. "You haven't missed much here. Alec naked in the common room was today's excitement."

"Awww, maaaaaan." Parker pouted, audibly. "That is so unfair! The only naked and semi-naked guys I've seen here have been scrawny or unwashed or both! And skeezy! No fair...."

"Oh it was beautiful," she said, smiling at the memory. "Apparently there was a mutiny against clothes."

"We need to have another Shirtless Friday while I'm still there, damnit." Parker grumbled, then yawned. "Nobody hurt. Trying to find Jake by following coffee. Saw a raccoon. Amsterdam was cool. I didn't go look at the hookers, though."

"Talk to Jack, I'm sure he'd arrange it. Or Alec even," Isabel suggested. "You're tracking Jake by coffee and raccoons and hookers?"

"By talking to people who know people who took people and own places where Jake might be." Parker cracked her neck, eyelids heavy. "The raccoon was a shapeshifting little geek. Alanna was pissed." She snickered a little, then said, "It's been interesting, really. But we're all getting loopy."

"You need to hang up the phone and go to sleep," she ordered. "Otherwise I'll tell Jarod and Jack."

"Sleep well Parker," Isabel said. "And be careful."

"Always." And in Paris, Parker hung up the phone, closed her eyes, and slept until they had their next lead on Jake.
