"I have to say it did. I am not sure how," he added, still very puzzled by that. "Seeing as it was a book. I ended up carrying it outside, pillow nest and all so I could keep an eye on it."
"Really," he nodded vigorously. "I wouldn't lie, I promise. Wee little eggs, though they were gone the following day, and the books returned to being books."
