Room 406, afternoon

Isabel was amused to wake up and find everything back in color. She was less amused when she looked in the closet and realized that she never got a chance to wear the pretty Homecoming dress she'd ordered online. There was no sign of the mass of tulle she did wear to the dance. Shrugging at the wackiness that is Fandom, Isabel showered, dressed and then settled down on her bed with a book.

The door was open.

A very bright pink Jack leaned in her doorway, waiting to be noticed.

Isabel looked up, blinked several times, and then burst out laughing.

Jak grinned and offered her a deep and rather elegant bow, before turning in a slow circle so she could get the full effect.

"Everywhere?" she asked between giggles.

"Everywhere," he confirmed, shaking his pink hair into his eyes so he could see it. "I kind of like it."

"Only you Jack," Isabel said, still laughing. "Only you. I suppose you want me to fix it?"

"Sam likes it, but yeah, if you wouldn't mind?" Jack sat next to her on the bed and held his arms wide. "Unless you think I should keep it?"

"It's certainly a different look. But I think you should go back to normal," she said. "Otherwise Sam would have to spend to much time thinking about her clothes to avoid clashing with you."

Jack barely supressed a grin. "It's like you can read her mind," he said. "What do you need me to do?"

"Sit there and look pretty," Isabel said, uncurling her legs and rising to her knees. Reaching out, she ran her hands through Jack's hair, changing it back to it's normal color. Finished with his hair, she ran her hands over his face and down his arms.

Jack eyes were half closed, enjoying her touch, but they suddenly widened. "Do you have to touch everything you need to fix? Because I wasn't exaggerating when I said that I'm pink everywhere."

"Then some parts of you might be staying pink," she said, turning a pale pink herself. "Although honestly, it can't be any worse then the day I helped Angel get rid of the lurid purple prose that a magic quill had written ALL over him."

"Unless it really did write on everything, trust me, it's worse." He smiled and touched the back of Isabel's hand. "Anything you're willing to change, change, but some bits of me can stay pink," he said firmly as he kicked off his shoes and socks. "It'll wear off eventually. Do you need bare skin?"

"Look! I'm in color!" Greg said excitedly as he bounced in through the door, as though Isabel might not be able to tell.

"And the hedgehog suddenly makes sense again," Isabel laughed, taking in Greg's spiked hair. "But I have to say, as far at wackiness goes, that was pretty mild."

"We were in black and white and my hair was mostly flat." Greg gave her a look. "It was weird."

"We could have been seven and gotten married by the Mountie. Or there could have been monsters trying to eat us," she pointed out. "There were no injuries and minimal embarrassment. That's pretty good by Fandom standards."

"But...my hair," he said sadly, running his hand over it as he crossed the room and melodramatically flopped onto the bed.

"I wore tulle!" Isabel said, shaking her head in disbelief as she slid over to give him room. "Somehow the absolutely gorgeous dress I ordered was replaced by something made of layers and layers of tulle! What do you think? Should I burn the pictures?"

"Nooo, you looked hot," Greg reassured her. "In a...you know, tulle-y way."

"I'm going to have to take your word for it," she said, still not convinced. "It's a little too Cinderella for me. Although oddly enough, I did wind up making a pair of glass slippers last week."

"Bel asked," Isabel explained. "Homecoming was his one year anniversary with Phoebe. He had a whole Cinderella theme going to celebrate. It was sweet."

"Awwwww," Greg said. "And you were okay with making them?"

"Well I made them more of a lucite/plastic type material because that would be both lighter and safer to wear," she said. "They looked cute. And then today I had to de-pink Jack."
