Room 406, early Sunday afternoon

Once Greg had left after some morning snuggles, Isabel showered and dressed for the day before pulling out the supplies for the small surprise she wanted to work on. It wasn't quite as flashy as skywriting, but the sentiment was there. Unfortunately she quickly realized she was going to need help. After leaving some messages, Isabel started to give herself a pedicure while she waited for the calvary to arrive.

Parker knocked on the door as she walked in, eyebrows up. "Chocolate? What are you planning, Isabel?"

Isabel held up her supplies and a photo. "This," she said. "But I'm not steady enough to do it myself."

Parker looked at the photo, then chuckled evilly. "This for Greggie's benefit, I'm assuming? Because I can't see you just doing this for fun."

"Well some of it is for me, because it is pretty. But you can tell what's been added specifically for him." She smiled and reached for the bag of Dove minatures and a sheet of paper that had been on her desk. "It's not quite skywriting. But still there's sentiment. This explains why I chose the ones I did," she said, handing the paper over.

Parker read it and slowly smiled. "And I'll bet he understands the significance immediately, too. Which one do you want me to start with? And where?" Parker glanced at the sheet again. "Phenethylamine?"

"I was thinking they should be done around my ankles. Throw in a few hearts, flowers and vines and I bet it'll look adorable," Isabel grinned as she opened a piece of chocolate.

Parker took one, then popped in in her mouth, nodding. "He'll also have a bzuh reaction, when he realizes it's you did all this work." She smiled slowly, holding up one of the Doves. "Later on? You might want to do these in chocolate."

"Google is my friend. It's not that difficult," Isabel pointed out. "And now I'm speaking a language he understands."

Dawn comes in later

"Oh my god, Dawn. What happened?" she asked climbing to her feet. "Are you okay?"

"Too much spacevodka, not enough water, and I think I told Dean I was in love with him." She sat. "What's up, and how are you?"

"We can fix that," Isabel said, already heading towards the mini-fridge. "Here, have some water. And chocolate." She held out the bag and motioned for Dawn to take a seat on the end of the bed. "Now what exactly did you tell Dean?"

"Thank you," Dawn sat down where instructed, beginning to get curious about what she was doing there. She took a bite of the chocolate and closed her eyes in bliss. "That I loved him."

"But you still haven't told me what we're doing."

"And how did he react to that?" Isabel asked. "Since your not flailing, I guess it went well."

She held out her ankles for inspection. "Parker did that for me earlier. But I've been doing some more reading and there's one more design I want to do. It's a little too large to go on my ankle though."

After The Clinic

After her clinic shift, Janet stopped by to apologize for her behavior yesterday.

"Aside from a massive case of embarrassment," said Janet, coming inside and sitting down heavily. "Sorry. I really don't think you're out to take over the world. I never did, actually."

"You were bit by a gremlin, embarassment is expected," she smiled. "Don't worry about. I didn't take anything you said seriously. I was just worried about you."

"Thanks." Janet shrugged, a sheepish look on her face. "I know it's to be expected, but that doesn't stop me from feeling bad. I was pretty awful to you."

"Really, don't worry about it," Isabel assured here. "You were scared. I understand that."

"I wasn't just scared, I was terrified." Janet crossed her legs on the sofa and leaned forward, her arms resting on her knees. "Where I come from, that universe--" She sighed. She owed Isabel an explanation about at least a few things. "There are aliens. And some of them can invade a person's body, and control their actions."
