Room 406, after archery into the evening

After last night's festivities, Isabel could use a little quiet. So tonight she's sitting in her room catching up on email, running through her lists of things to do for Fourth of July and possibly reading some Wendy the Werewolf Hunter fanfic. Not that she'd ever admit that.

The door is open.

Sometime in the afternoon, Cedric wanders down the hall and stops by Isabel's room. He smiles and waves.

"Good afternoon, Isabel."

Isabel looked up from her 4th of July List O'Doom and smiled. "Hi Cedric!"

"Did I come at a bad time?" Cedric asks, nodding to the list. "I can always come back."

"No, not at all. I need a break," she said with a smile. "Come in, have a seat. I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you much last night."

"That's all right," he says, coming inside and taking a seat. "You were busy cooking a very delicious meal. It was delicious, by the way."

"Oh good, Jack said he was taking some. I'm glad he fed you." Isabel shrugged, "I just felt like cooking. And it's always fun to watch the crowd gather when free food is involved. So what have you been doing today?"

"Today, nothing much," he says and shrugs. "Enjoying the time to relax, I guess. There's really nothing left for me to explore so I'm just enjoying now. And yourself? Busy day?"

After Cedric leaves

Jack was wandering around the fourth floor, and ambled into Isabel's room, leaning against the wall just inside the door. "That food was delicious, and I owe you for letting me take some away," he said with a grin. "Anything you want, just name it and it's yours."

"Anything?" Isabel asked, raising in eyebrow. "That's a pretty big thank you. That must have been some picnic."

"Actually, it's kind of a cheat, seeing as I'll give you anything you want anyway." He walked over and joined her on the bed, stretching out on his stomach. "But it was a very good picnic. What are you up to?" he asked, waving at the list.

"Awww, thanks," Isabel smiled, ruffling his hair. "I'm set at the moment. But if you were to show up with ice cream one night? I wouldn't complain. This," she said tapping the pad, "Is Fourth of July. Or at least my plans for Fourth of July. I'm organizing a party."

"There will be ice cream," he promised, grinning up at her. "A party? Can I help? Do you need someone to go shirtless?"

"Yay ice cream," she grinned. "It's going to be a Fourth of July beach party. So there'll be plenty of shirtlessness. You're going to love it." As she spoke, Isabel added Jack's name to the labor list.

After Jack

Molly was holding one arm close to her body and was apparently talking to a small bundle tucked near her elbow. "We're there now, you can come out. Please stop burrowing, you're poking me." She looked up and smiled at Isabel through the open door.

"Hey, Isabel. I have something for you," she said with a grin.

"Hi Molly!" Isabel said as she put the laptop aside. "You do? What?"

Molly entered the room and reached under the spiked bundle with her free hand to lift it out of the crook of her arm. Supporting him with her other hand now, she held the hedgehog out to Isabel.

"It's Greg!" Molly said with a bright smile. "Isn't he cute? Look at his wee little feeties!"

Isabel blinked. "How?" she asked, tentatively reaching out to touch his spikes.

Molly stepped closer to Isabel. "He was investigating something in a closet in the school, there was a flash of light and then he was a hedgehog," she explained. "Anakin said it was the same closet that turned Logan into a bunny last fall so I don't think it's permanent."

Sometime after having tracked Bridge down on the second floor, Xander treked up to Four. With a tank in his hand. He knocked at the door to 406, still pretty much wearing an expression of utter 'No seriously, WTF?'

"It's open," Isabel called out.

"I come bearing Frog. And a serious case of Willowbrokemybrain," Xander added. "Are you possibly up for Jeremiah-sitting until Sunday? Apparently I'm going home."

"As long as Jeramiah doesn't mind sharing a room with a hedgehog, it's fine," Isabel said as she pointed to the small hedgehog curled up on a pillow next to her. "Why are you going home? Is anything wrong?"

"Not wrong, just... the hell. Willow shanghai'd me into taking my SATs again. Six years ago." He peered at the hedgehog. "Awww, cute. Pet, person, or plague-induced hallucination?"

"Oh god," Isabel sighed. "Time travelling interdimensional stuff. My brain breaks. Add in the fact that the hedgehog is my boyfriend? I need a serious chocolate fix."
