Room 406, afternoon

Isabel had reached the point where studying just wasn't happenening any longer. A quick phone call had Parker appearing, loaded down with gifts.

The door was open, the carols were playing, Annie was wearing a wee Santa hat and Parker and Isabel were laughing like demented elves as they ate chocolate and drank eggnog while waiting for people to come by so they could hand out holiday presents.

Parker was wearing a black velvet bodysuit with white fur cuffs and collar, and she had envelopes with shiny paper and red ribbons, bows, and a good bit of glitter. She looked like the Bad Elf that put coal in children's stockings.

"Soooo. You want your present now?" Parker danced and envelope in front of Annie, who batted at it. "Or later?"

"Now! Now! Now!" Isabel demanded, as the sugar started to effect her. "Then I'll give you yours."

Parker snickered, and held out the envelope, then handed over a small box. "Merry Christmas, crazy Christmas assistant."

Alanna's hands were still wrapped in bandages, but she had a present in one and a cat in another. One was for Isabel.

"Hey! How are you?" Isabel asked. "How are your hands?"

"Achey." Alanna said and lifted up the one with the cat in it. "Why, oh why is it always my hands and/or arms?"

"Hey, Alanna." Parker waved as Alanna came in, then started rooting around for her present. She found Faithful's first. "Faithful, open it now, or wait until Christmas?"

"Parker! Is it going to make me want to hide?" "Present!"

Zero, dressed in her elf costume, peered around the doorframe. "Did someone say presents?"

"You've come to the right place," Isabel nodded, pulling another present out of her stash. She held out a brightly colored gift bag. "For you."

"Oooh, thank you!" Zero held out a gift bag of her own and said, "And this is for you."

"Hey!" Parker waved, then held out an envelope and a box. "In fact? Someone did. Love the hat. Tell me your boyfriend's not being held hostage again."

"Ooh, pretty. And eeee!" Zero bounced as she opened the tickets. "No, this time I'm a presents-delivering elf instead of a rescuing elf. And speaking of which..." Zero held out a largish box containing this, this, this, and this. "Happy Christmas."

Aeryn, feeling oddly naked without her egg, knocks on the doorframe. "You wanted to see me?"

Isabel waved and the pompom on her hat bounced. "Yes! I wasn't sure what your plans were for the holidays so I wanted to make sure you got your presents. Come on in, let me get them out!"

She steps inside and says kind of apologetically, "I haven't even been able to finish my shopping yet."

"Hey, Aeryn." Parker waved as Aeryn came in. "We're getting it done in one swell foop. Candy cane?" she offered, shuffling through her envelopes to find Aeryn's.

Molly stopped by on her way back upstairs. "Hi, Isabel. What's up?"

High on sugar and holiday cheer, Isabel grinned. "Prezzies!" A small box went flying towards Molly.

"EEP!" Molly said as she caught the box. "Wow. Thanks, Isabel! Can I open it now?"

Parker waved to Molly. "Hey, Molly. Candy cane?"

Anders stopped by before heading up to the StuCo/Hanukkah party, a wrapped bottle under one arm and a large wrapped box under the other. "Caprican Santa Claus calling!"

"Hey, Daisy!" Parker grinned and got up to wander over and look at the packages. "I've got a prezzie for youuu..."
