Disneyland, all day

Isabel had tried to be mature and blase about going to Disney. But by the time they'd gotten their tickets, gotten into the park and were standing on Main Street, she was pretty much bouncing with excitement. "Okay, where do you want to go first?"

[Anyone in LA can hop in. Just assume a handwavey invite. Please wait for the OCD is up! But I'm still insane]

It's a Small World

Aeryn keeps hearing complaining about the ride from one of the people ahead in line. She's starting to look a little worried.

Parker's waiting in line and looking speculatively up the mountain. "Good thing I'm not wearing a white shirt."

Parker whapped him on the arm, not hard, and said, "So. What happened to Cal, that she's suddenly Little Mary Sunshine? Angel had no idea."

Parker rolled her eyes, and took a few steps forward as the line advanced. "I mean, How did this happen? I was talking to Aeryn, and Zero, and a doctor might not be a bad idea if it's something like that." She squinted through her sunglasses at him. "She said you were there."

Angela looked down at her own winter-white sweater. "Too bad I am," she said. "Should I get a t-shirt or something, or just trust my tank top?"

Parker cocked her head. "Trust the tank, I think. If it's not new it won't stain the sweater." She grinned. "This is a lot more fun than I expected it would be. I thought it would be all little-kid rides."

"It is," Angela agreed. "I've never been to anything Disney, so I'm glad Isabel thought of this."

She played with the sweater a little more. "I'll stick it in my bag when we board so it'll stay dry."

Parker leaned back against one of the guide-rails, and put her shades on top of her head. "What else have you guys done since you got here? I'm hitting Venice Beach tonight for Thai food later, but is there other stuff I shouldn't miss?" She tilted her head, and nodded at the sweater comment.

"Tell me why we're doing this again?" Isabel asked, staring at the animatronic bird. "Because the damn song is going to be in my head all day now."

"I think it has something to do with deprived childhoods." Parker was staring right along with her. "Or possibly we're just in need of therapy."

Parker snickered. "Definitely. Although Jose's cute." Parker shot the performer a speculative look. "And at least he's not wearing a huge plastic head."

Space Tours

Molly danced from foot to foot as the line crept forward. She was talking rapidly to Ray about when she had been to Disneyland with her parents when she was six.

"... so now I can go on all the rides I wanted to then because I'm finally tall enough."

Molly narrowed her eyes at him. "Yes," she said with a lift of her chin. "I actually found out later that I was tall enough then for most of the rides, but my dad told me I wasn't because he thought I'd get scared."

Jungle Cruise

Thanks to several animal transformations her boyfriend's been through, Aeryn's kind of weirdly fascinated by animals. She's going to be really disappointed to know that the animals are fake, but still, she can count off how many she knows.

She takes a seat on the boat and considering she was humming that frelling song in line, she says, "If anything sings, I'm killing it."
